Spring school holidays are here again and ACC is closed for two weeks. We’ll be back on Monday 2nd October with a full program of activities carrying us through to the end of the year.

In term 4 Artful Painting and Drawing begins on Monday 9 October from 1-3pm. The cost is $320 for 8x2 hour classes.
Clare tutors this fun and relaxed adult art group and provides instructional lessons on painting and drawing.

Already know your way around an electric drill and jigsaw - but don’t have the tools or space at home to build your new shelf, chair or planter? We have a few places left in our Intermediate Women in the Shed group in Term 4.
It runs on Thursday afternoons from 1-4pm for 6 weeks starting Thursday 19th October and costs $240.
Bring your own project ideas and materials along, use our tools and space and tap into the knowledge of the supervisor.
If you have already taken our introduction course or have sufficient experience with tools then book a place here!
Women in the Shed continues in Term 4.
Be quick to book a place in either the Introduction or the Intermediate course.

Thanks Simone at Richmond Community Learning Centre for applying for the Sustainability Victoria grant that is subsidising these workshops and thanks for sharing the delivery hours with us … and other Yarra Neighbourhood Houses.
Speaking of which, this week Yarra Council will be endorsing the new Yarra Neighbourhood House Partnership Strategy. Hooray! It is just great as a tiny grassroots organisation to have such a strong strategic partnership with local government. With regular funding built in.
And of course it is wonderful to have such lovely supportive colleagues across the houses.
